Students will draw and write examples of text and an illustration from a children’s book.

Students will use their understanding of the children’s book, along with the Drawp for School writing and drawing tools.  You can download drawp here: https://drawpforschool.com/download/

Students’ comprehension about the book is evaluated based on their answers. Students should correctly name the author and illustrator of the text. They should copy a direct quote from the book and do their best to copy an illustration from the book. Then, students should describe the relationship between illustration and the words in the text.
